Evelyn M. Bush

Salem - January 4, 2009 - Evelyn M. Bush, 94, of 12280 Lisbon Road, died at 5:35 p.m. Sunday at her daughter's home.

Mrs. Bush was born April 12, 1914 in Alliance, a daughter of Perry and Sophia Hahlen Weaver and had lived in the area all of her life. Evelyn had been employed as a packer at Salem China, retiring in 1983. She was a member of Robbins United Methodist Church, Washingtonville.

Her husband, Harvey L. Bush, whom she married September 3, 1938 died March 15, 2001.

She is survived by two daughters, Judy (Ernest) Maretich and Rita (Ken) Meshula both of Greenford; three sons, Ronald (Beverly) Bush and Gary (Debbie) Bush both of Greenford and Fred (Tina) Bush of Poland; twenty grandchildren and thirty-five great grandchildren.

A sister, Gladys Baker also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia with Reverend John P. Maroni officiating. Burial will follow in Washingtonville Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the services on Thursday at the funeral home.
