Ethel Stouffer

Washingtonville - May 2, 2008 - Ethel Stouffer, 92, of 520 High Street, died at 11:06 a.m. Friday at the Salem Community Hospital.

Mrs. Stouffer was born October 15, 1915 in Lisbon, a daughter of Harry and Elizabeth Douglass Wolfe and had lived in this area all of her life. She was a member of the Franklin Square Methodist Church. She had been employed as a press operator at the WM, Inc. in Washingtonville for several years. Prior to that she had worked at the former Mullins Manufacturing in Salem.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Stouffer; a sister and four brothers.

She is survived by a daughter, Shirley Grogan of Dallas, TX; a son, William Stouffer of Washingtonville; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Private family services will take place at a later date. Arrangements were made by the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia.
