Esther N. Spaite
Petersburg, OH-September 27, 2004-Esther N. Spaite, age 89, formerly of High Street, died at 2:22 a.m. Monday at St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown.
Mrs. Spaite was born April 14, 1915 in Petersburg, a daughter of Claude A. and Edna Sauer Eaton and had lived in the area all of her life.
She was a homemaker and member of St. John Lutheran Church, Petersburg.
Her husband, Kenneth H. Spaite, whom she married June 25, 1945 died June 13, 1999. She is survived by her two sons, David Spaite of Petersburg and James (Arjean) Spaite of Boardman; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Two sisters, Arlene Walsh and Edna Stewart and a brother, Arthur Eaton preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 30, 2004 at the Van Dyke-Swaney Funeral Home, East Palestine with Reverend Ken Hacker officiating. Burial will be in Petersburg Cemetery. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
