Emily A. Susinka

Boardman – Emily A. Susinka, 95, of Boardman, died at 12:25 a.m. Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Assumption Village, North Lima.

Mrs. Susinka was born May 5, 1919 in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Frank and Frances Sytarczyk Dudek. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Luke Catholic Church, Boardman.

Her husband, Joseph Susinka, whom she married November 1, 1941, preceded her in death January 25, 1997.

She is survived by a daughter, Mary (James) Farina of North Lima; two sons, Joseph (Marilyn) Susinka of Alden, MI and Edward (Joanne) Susinka of Frederick, MD; a sister, Irene Ramps of Boardman; two brothers, Louis (Edna) Dudek of Calcutta, and Leonard Dudek of Boardman; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

A sister, Alice Dudek and five brothers, Theodore Landers, Alfred Dudek, Adolf Dudek, Michael Dudek, and Robert Dudek are also deceased.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at St. Jude Catholic Church, Columbiana with Father Christopher Cicero officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Youngstown. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the services on Tuesday.
