Salem-November 14, 2008-Emery William Henderson, 82, of 930 Prospect Street, died at 7:00 a.m. Friday at his home.
Mr. Henderson was born January 8, 1926 in Franklin Square, a son of Frank T. and Birda Libert Henderson and had lived in this area all of his life.
Emery was employed as a truck driver for Salem China. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II. His wife, the former, Sharlene Carlisle and four sisters preceded him in death.
He is survived by a son, William Henderson of Salem and two sisters, Alberta Tenzek of Salem and Frances Bell of North Lima.
No formal funeral services will be held. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia.
