Elvada M. Bardo

Salem, May 11, 2004, Elvada M. Bardo, age 95, of 30909 Hartley Road, formerly of Leetonia, died at 10:50 a.m. Tuesday at Essex of Salem III.

Mrs. Bardo was born January 23, 1909 in Washingtonville, a daughter of Wade and Ella Grim Hileman and had lived in this area all of her life. She had been employed at the Dan Dee Pretzel Company of Leetonia for several years. She was a member of the Lisbon Baptist Temple.

Her husband, Harold Bardo, whom she married September 12, 1930 died on August 5, 1950.

She is survived by a daughter Mrs. Carol Ochkie of Salem; two grandchildren, Lynnette Ochkie of Salem and Mark Ochkie of St. Augustine, FL; and two great grandchildren, Brittany Ochkie and Mark Allen Ochkie.

A son, Richard Bardo and three brothers, Walter, Soloman, and Harvey Hileman are also deceased.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia with Pastor Chuck Cusick officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakdale Cemetery.

Friends may call from 1-2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
