Elinor E. Rambo

Columbiana - Mrs. Elinor E. Rambo, age 84, of Columbiana, OH, died on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Brookdale Senior Living, Austintown, OH.

She was a biology lecturer and reference librarian at Northern Kentucky University and a faithful member of California (KY) Christian Church and First Christian Church, Covington, KY.

Elinor is survived by her son, T. Birch (Sharon) Rambo of Eugene, OR; daughter, Elisabeth (Fritz) Nelson of Columbiana, OH; five grandchildren, Micah (Emma) Rambo, Rosalind Rambo, Clara Lederer, Tabitha Lederer and Eric Nelson; a great grandchild, Elinor Rambo; sister, Marcia (Roger) Burden and sister-in-law, Carol Emery.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Bruce Emery.

A memorial service will be offered with First Christian Church, Covington and hosted at Bullittsville (KY) Christian Church on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
