Eleanor Mae Wright

Rogers - Eleanor Mae Wright, 86, of 47475 Riffle Road, died at 5:10 p.m. Thursday at Caprice Health Care Center, North Lima.

Mrs. Wright was born February 27, 1923 in Swampscott, MA, a daughter of the late Harold J. and Myra Daley Brush, Sr. and was adopted and raised by an aunt and uncle, Elmer and Gertrude Merritt.

She was a 1969 graduate of Geneva College and taught first and second grade at Elkton School for 33 years, retiring in 1984. She was a member of Lake Mount Church of Christ and a life member of the Ohio Retired Teachers Association. Eleanor loved her family and friends and the Steelers.

Her husband, Foyn E. Wright, whom she married March 11, 1945 died April 26, 1972.

She is survived by a daughter, Lucinda A. Oldaker of Salem; two sons, Dan (Candy) Wright of Goodells, MI and William N. (Christina) Wright of Rogers; eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.

A brother, Harold J. Brush, Jr. and a grandson, Gavin J. Sorrell are also deceased.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana with Jason Pancake, Minister officiating. Burial will follow in Kemble's Cemetery, Elkton.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday. Memorials may be made to either the Lake Mount Church of Christ or Hospice of the Valley.
