Eileen C. Strouse

Leetonia - June 28, 2005 - Eileen C. Strouse, 83, of 40637 SR 344, died at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Belleair East Health Care Center, Clearwater, FL, following a long illness.

Mrs. Strouse was born November 5, 1921 in Leetonia, a daughter of the late Arthur and Cecelia Lavelle Reese and had lived in this area all of her life.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society of the church.

She is survived by her husband, Glenn Strouse, whom she married August 24, 1942; two daughters, Teresa Strouse of Clearwater, FL and Mrs. Michael (Elizabeth) Frank of North Canton; a son, William Strouse of Phoenix, AZ; a sister, Mrs. Helen Marado of Warren; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A daughter, Anne Eastek and three brothers, Joseph Reese, Gordon Reese, and Thomas Reese are deceased.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Leetonia, with the Reverend Edward Brienz officiating. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery. Friends may call at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. on Friday.

Material tributes may take the form of a donation to the St. Patrick's Church Restoration Fund.
