Eileen Bower Patton

Eileen Mildred Patton, 93, died Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Assumption village, North Lima

Eileen was born September 25, 1923 in New Waterford, a Daughter of the late Jessie and Alta Heck Bower.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Columbiana and worked as an RN at Salem Regional Medical center. She belonged to area card clubs, enjoyed playing games, traveling and was a very devoted grandmother and great grandmother.

Eileen was preceded in death on May 12, 1976 by her Husband Floyd Patton whom she married February 16, 1946.

She is survived by a daughter, Beverly (Edward) Reidy of East Palestine; a son, David (Marcella) Patton of Columbiana; a sister, Genevieve Coleman of Columbiana; She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Jeffrey “JD” (Elena) Patton, Jared (Sara) Patton, Nicholas (Jennifer) Sposato, Patrick Sposato, Melissa Sposato, Lisa (Jeff) Houp, Kristi Reidy, Edward Reidy, Jr. and Charles Reidy; and four great grandchildren, Ida Patton, Ava Patton, Anthony Sposato and Dominic Sposato.

Eileen was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane Houp; a sister Janet Weigle; and a brother, Roger Bower.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, Columbiana on Monday, April 24th 2017 with pastor Fritz Nelson Officiating. Friends may call prior to the service at the church from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
