Leetonia – Eileen Maynard, 80, passed away January 13, 2015 at the home of her daughter from complications of dementia.

Mrs. Maynard was born February 15, 1934 in Big Creek, WV, to the late Bernie H. Lucas and Belle Mullins Lucas.

Eileen came to Ohio in 1959 with her late husband, Goodman James Maynard, who passed away on October 10, 2009. She also lost a daughter, Darlene, who passed away at 2 ½ years of age of myotonic dystrophy on June 28, 1966.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Mary) Lanzendorfer of Leetonia; three sons, Gary (Michelle) Maynard of Salineville , James (Tammy) Maynard of Leetonia and Gregory Maynard of Missouri; ten grandchildren, Mrs. Bruce (Sherry) Trayes of Columbiana, Mrs. Daniel (Stephanie) Bell of Salem, Michael (Jenny) Maynard of Salineville, Samantha Maynard of New Springfield, Tiffany Harris Aiken of Leetonia, Justin (Brittany) Maynard of Sandusky, Karla Maynard of Salem, Jason Maynard of Missouri, Phillip and Rebecca Worley of Salineville, 17 great grandchildren, Walker and Colin Trayes, Hayden, Christopher, Emily, Maggie, Elijah and Gideon Bell, Ashland, Dean and Piper Maynard, Landon Stump, Grace and Ella Harris, Gia Aikens, Louis and Savannah Maynard.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Youth Group at Lisbon Baptist Temple, 6428 Lisbon Road, Lisbon, OH 44432. Flowers may be sent to the home of her daughter, 40603 Crestview Road, Leetonia, Ohio 44431.

There will be no calling hours. Arrangements were made by the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia.
