Edwin 'Butch' C. Gorby Jr

Rogers February 12, 2007 -Edwin C. 'Butch' Gorby, Jr., age 60 , of 49211 Dyke Road died at 5:15 p.m. Monday in the emergency room of East Liverpool City Hospital.

He was born January 15, 1947 in Fairmount WV, son of Edwin C. and Mary Gail Bittner Gorby.

He had lived in the Rogers area all his life and was Baptist by faith.

Butch had been a truck driver for Ferris Coal, J&J Trucking and Century Products.

Surviving is his wife, Sandra Lee Ward whom he married July 3, 1969; a daughter, Mrs. Steve (Sharon) Blystone of LaCroft; two sons, Scott (Tina) Gorby of East Liverpool, and Edwin (Airen) Gorby, III of Rogers; a brother Gary Allen Gorby of Columbiana; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A great grandson, Dylan Sprouse preceded him in death.

Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday at the Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home with the Pastor Jeff Nutter of Faith Community Church at East Liverpool officiating. Burial will follow in the East Carmel Cemetery.
