Edward A. Walters

Boardman - Edward A. Walters, 56, formerly of East Palestine, died at 1:06 a.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown.

Edward was born May 29, 1958 in Salem, a son of Edson and Carol Cozza Walters. He had formerly attended the Fairhaven Workshop in Niles for several years. Eddie will be missed by his many friends and caregivers at Javit Court in Austintown and Beyond Expectations Adult Day Program in Boardman.

He is survived by his mother and step father, Carol and Daryl Kirtley of East Palestine; two sisters, Diana and Ross Chick and Christina Dilworth and Bruce Mansfield, all of East Palestine; a brother, Terry and Tracy Walters of Champion; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edson Walters and a great niece, Hannah Grace Stewart.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, East Palestine with Father Christopher Cicero officiating. Burial will follow in East Carmel Cemetery.
