Edward J. Landsberger

Lisbon- Edward J. Landsberger, age 92, of Lisbon, died on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at his residence.

He was born on November 10, 1923 in East Palestine, a son of the late William F. and Edna J. Pike Landsberger.

Edward was a veteran of the United States Army having served during WWII and was a member of St. George Catholic Church in Lisbon. He worked in the maintenance department for the Ohio Turnpike.

He is survived by his wife Bernice E. Frazier Landsberger whom he married on August 18, 1947; two daughters, Paula Ann Barnhart of Lisbon and Christine Ann Arkwright of Leetonia; four sisters, Louise Yacullo of Columbiana, Virginia Artrip of Rogers, Margaret Stratton of Greer, SC and Evelyn Bailey of East Palestine; and a brother, Elvie Landsberger of New Springfield.

Edward was preceded in death by a sister, Edna Knight and five brothers, William C. Landsberger, Albert H. Landsberger, Charles L. Landsberger, Fred H. Landsberger and Frank Landsberger. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Stephen Wassie officiating.

Burial will be at the Crest Haven Memorial Gardens, New Waterford.
