Columbiana- Tuesday, July 13, 2004 - Edward M. Juhn, 91, of 41 North Cross Street, died at 8:57 p.m. in the emergency room of Salem Community Hospital, after being stricken at home. He was born January 6, 1913 in Salem, son of Martin and Katherine Neitch Juhn. He later moved to Alliance where he lived for 30 years and then to Columbiana in 1980. Mr. Juhn had been a typesetter for Harris Printing Company in Salem and then worked at Babcock and Wilcox for 30 years, retiring as Mill Superintendent. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Salem. Mr. Juhn is survived by his wife, the former Helen F. Lindsay whom he married June 27, 1953; a daughter, Mrs. William (Marjorie) Tuel of Alliance; four brothers, William Juhn of Coca Beach FL, Martin Juhn of Rochester NY, Kenneth Juhn of Jacksonville Fl and Henry Juhn of Salem; six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and a great-great granddaughter. A sister, Gertrude Juhn; a brother, Albert Juhn and a grandson preceded him in death. Pastor Jack E. Austin will officiate at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the Columbiana Cemetery Chapel, where burial will follow. Friends may call 6-8 Friday at the Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home.
