Edna F. Johnston

North Lima, OH- March 11, 2006-Edna F. Johnston, age 87, formerly of East Palestine died at 6:20 p.m. Saturday at Caprice Health Care Center, North Lima.

Miss Johnston was born September 23, 1918 in Akron, OH a daughter of Julius Alfred and Adah E. Boyd Johnston and had lived in North Lima since 1982 coming from East Palestine. Previous to living in East Palestine she had resided in Akron for 60 years.

Edna was a homemaker.

She is survived by a nephew, Paul (Janice) Tate of Rock Hill, SC. Her two sisters, Mary Ellen Gatrell and Elizabeth Tate are deceased.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at the Van Dyke-Swaney Funeral Home, East Palestine with Reverend Brian Hassel of Emmanuel United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Northlawn Memorial Gardens, Peninsula, OH. Friends may call one hour prior to the services on Wednesday.
