Columbiana, December 24, 2004 - Edna Bell Granger, age 96, of 548 East Park Avenue died at 9:42 a.m. Friday in the Essex of Salem, where she had been for two weeks.
She was born Sept. 15, 1908 in Middleton Township, daughter of Harry and Jessie Vale Williams.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Columbiana, was a Trustee of the church and a member of the Towasi Class, Faiths Circle, Friends Always and the Women's Association of the church
She was a member and Past Worthy Matron in 1970 during Columbiana Chapter # 428 Order of Eastern Star's Golden Year Celebration, Pandora Rebekah Lodge #743 of Columbian and was a board member of East Carmel Cemetery Association.
She was preceded in death January 20, 1957 by her first husband, Paul R. Lipp, whom she married April 20, 1924 and in June of 1964 by her second husband, James C. Horton whom she married January 23, 1959 and on July 7, 1992 by her third husband, Charles C. Granger whom she married June 26, 1968.
A son, Paul R. Lipp, Jr. of Clarkson; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, survives her.
She was preceded in death by a son, Donald Lipp; two sisters, Mabel Dickey and Louise Faulk; and one brother, Howard Williams.
Services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday by the Rev. Dr. Stephen Cramer at the Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the East Carmel Cemetery.
Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
There will be a Rebekah service at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday.
