Edna Grace Berresford

Darlington, PA-January 23, 2005-Edna Grace Berresford, age 75, of 122 Essie Street, died Sunday morning at her home.

Mrs. Berresford was born July 4, 1929 in Middleton Township, OH, a daughter of George and Minnie Mackall Elliott and had lived in the area most of her life.

She was a secretary for Darlington Brick and Nalco Chemical Company retiring in 1986.

Her husband, Leroy H. Berresford, whom she married June 11, 1947, died September 10, 1975.

She is survived by two sons, Terry Berresford of East Palestine, OH and Michael Berresford of Darlington, PA; a sister, Mrs. Donald (Faye) Grim of Magadore, OH; two brothers, Harvey (Clela) Elliott of McDonald, OH and Duane (Donna) Elliott of East Palestine; and a granddaughter, Kylie Berresford of Winder, GA. A sister, Ruth Elliott and a brother, Elmer Elliott are deceased.

A Time of Remembrance where family and friends may gather will be held Saturday, January 29, 2005 at the Van Dyke-Swaney Funeral Home from 4-5 p.m.
