Earl L. Bell, Sr
Leetonia-December 8, 2008-Earl L. Bell, Sr., 70, of 108 Betz Street, died at 2:10 p.m. Monday at Essex II of Salem.
Mr. Bell was born February 13, 1938 in Leetonia, a son of Harry and Blanche Heintzelman Bell and had lived in the area all of his life.
Earl owned and operated Bell's Cleaning in Leetonia for several years. He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Washingtonville and served in the US Army.
He is survived by two sons, James Bell and Earl (Amanda) Bell, Jr. both of Leetonia; a step son, Eric Wiengart of New Middletown; two step daughters, Connie Scragg of East Palestine and Sherri Nappi of Columbiana; two sisters; one brother, five grandchildren; two great grandchildren and several step grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and five brothers.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 12, 2008 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Washingtonville with Pastor William Medford officiating.
Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia handled the arrangements.
