Washingtonville, OH-March 3, 2011-Douglas P. Snow, 55, of 335 Union St., died at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the home of his sister.
Douglas was born February 25, 1956, a son of Robert and Jean M. Hunter Snow and had lived in this area most of his life.
Doug was a 1974 graduate of Leetonia High School. He attended Kent State University Salem Branch and received his diploma in Electronic Technology from A.T.E.S. Technical Institute. He was a press operator for Ventra Plastics in Salem for 12 years. He also worked for Morrow Electric, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America Inc., Leetonia, Salem Golf Club, Community Action and at one time built silos for Harvester. He served in the US Army and was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Leetonia. Doug was an avid golfer.
Doug is survived by his mother, Jean Snow of Salem; two sisters, Molly (John) Grubbs of Leetonia and Susan (Tim) Stegell of Salem; five brothers, Robert (Dorothy) Snow of Leetonia, Samuel Snow of LaPorte, IN, Patrick (Dorothy) Snow of Minerva, John (Patty) Snow of Mesa, AZ and Tim (Jody) Snow of Salem.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Snow and a brother, Joseph Snow.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 7, 2011 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Reverend Robert Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia.
