Dorothy M. Roller

Leetonia- Dorothy M. Roller, age 83, of Leetonia, died on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at the Cleveland Clinic.

She was born on August 11, 1933 in Leetonia, one of eleven children, to the late Antonio and Lucia Coccara Altomare.

Dorothy was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and had worked in banking for almost forty years. She was a huge sports fan. She enjoyed watching the Buckeyes and the Cleveland Indians. Even more, she loved watching her grandchildren compete in all of their various sporting activities. Dorothy also enjoyed cooking, reading and playing cards. She loved vacationing with her family, boating, waterskiing, and wintering in Florida with her husband. Mostly, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of sixty two years, Willis Roller, whom she married on May 22, 1954; two daughters, LuAnn (Edward) Ayers of Salem, and Cathy (Randy) Selway of Leetonia; a son, Jim Roller of Leetonia; eight grandchildren, Lisa, Christopher and Joe Ayers, Angela Drewnoski, Joshua Selway, Nick, Delaney and Cameron Roller; and by three great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Leetonia with Father G. David Weikart officiating.

Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Leetonia.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church, Leetonia or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
