Dorothy E. Rohrer

Leetonia-January 17, 2009-Dorothy E. Rohrer, 87, of 220 State Street, died at 2:20 p.m. Saturday at Holander House in Salem.

Mrs. Rohrer was born September 9, 1921 in Lisbon, a daughter of Lloyd and Stella McMillian Grate and had lived in this area all of her life.

Dorothy was a homemaker and was a Methodist by faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Rohrer; two sons, Larry and Robert Rohrer; three sisters. Alma Filler, June Burns, and Norma Sharrald; and four brothers, Kenneth, Leland, William and Kyle Grate.

She is survived by her son, Roger L. Rohrer of Leetonia; a sisters. Goldie Ford of Warren; six grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia with the Reverend Steve Fortenberry officiating. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
