Dorothy J. Miner

Pinellas Park, FL - Dorothy J. Miner, 86, of Pinellas Park, formerly of East Palestine, died Friday, January 14, 2011 at the Largo Rehabilitation Center, Largo, FL.

Mrs. Miner was born December 27, 1924 in Canfield, OH, a daughter of the late Samuel J. and Sadie Bruhecker Welsh and had lived in Florida 28 years, coming from East Palestine.

She had been employed as a finisher at Electrical Refractories in East Palestine for 27 years, retiring in 1969. She had been a member of Grace Church, Columbiana.

She is survived by a sister, Betty Borroni of Hallendale, FL; and a brother, Lloyd Welsh of Pinellas Park, FL.

A brother, Wilbur Welsh is deceased.

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Columbiana Cemetery Chapel, Columbiana. Funeral arrangements are being made by the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine.
