Dorothy L. Manning

Columbiana August 4, 2007 -Dorothy L. Manning, age 94, of 700 Springfield Road, formerly of Pine Hollow Road Rogers, died at 6:25 p.m. Saturday in the Parkside Health Care Center.

She was born July 3, 1913 in Darlington PA, daughter of James and Mary Fowler Morris.

Mrs. Manning had lived in Columbiana for 12 years coming from Rogers.

She was a member of the Lake Mount Church of Christ and was a CB'er known as Red Bird.

Her husband, John Morgan Manning whom she married June 19, 1930 died July 24, 1995.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Charles (Dorothy May) Sienerth of Columbiana, Mrs. George (Mary Ellen) Todd of Rogers and Mrs. Ronald (Virginia Lee) Smith of Columbiana; seven grandchildren, Chuck (Connie) Sienerth of Salem, Greg (Linda) Eckstein of Canfield, Edward (Amy) Rogan of St. Lucie FL, Patricia Rogan of Lisbon, Gordon Todd and Rex Todd, both of Rogers and Wes Todd of Salem; eleven great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Four sisters, Ruby Musselwhite, Betty Morris, Mildred Pelligrini and Edna Bierley; and two brothers, James and Arthur Morris preceded her in death.

Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Lake Mount Church of Christ with the Jason Pancake Minister officiating. Burial will follow in the East Carmel Cemetery.

Friends may call 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home and one hour at the church prior to the service.
