Dorothy E. (Kiliany) Zimmerman

Columbiana - Dorothy E. Zimmerman, 96, of Columbiana, died on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Hospice House, Poland.

She was born on November 29, 1928, in Leetonia, daughter of the late John and Anna Dupal Kiliany.

Dorothy had worked for Glacier Howard's Johnson as a hotel manager and prior to that she worked at The Deming Company, Salem; National Rubber; and Ferguson Fruit Market. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and LCBA both of Leetonia.

Her husband, Wayne Dean Zimmerman, whom she married on June 4, 1955, preceded her in death on, June 16, 2013.

Dorothy is survived by her sister, Eleanor (Ralph) Zimmerman of Washingtonville; several nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law, Lena Tingle of Leetonia.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Dudick and Louise Briggs and two brothers, Thomas and Joseph Kiliany.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 27, 2024, from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.

Services will follow on Friday, December 27, 2024, at 11:00 am at the funeral home, with Deacon Larry Pasko officiating.

Burial will take place at Columbiana Cemetery.
