Dorothy Ella Frances Ward
Columbiana-February 9, 2012-Dorothy Ella Frances Ward, 92, of 937 E. Park Ave. died at 10:15 am Thursday, February 9, 2012, at Salem Community Hospital.
Mrs. Ward was born November 9, 1919 in Pocahontas County, WV, the daughter of Odes L. and Bessie R. Rankin Gibson.
She was a graduate of Clairton High School, Clairton, PA. Dorothy was a homemaker and member of Friendship United Methodist Church in Punta Gorda, FL. She was also a member of the Neshaminy Chapter No. 374 Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her second husband, John E. Ward; a son, James A. Abraham of Quakertown, PA; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Her first husband, J. Burnett Abraham, and two sisters, Cora G. Beale and Betty L. Mohney preceded her in death.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, February 17, 2012 at Whispering Pines Village, Columbiana.
