Doris Arthene (Brunner) Warner, 81, of 138 Seventh Street, Columbiana, passed away Saturday, August 27, at St. Elizabeth Health Center after a short illness.
Born October 21, 1923 in Salem, she was a daughter of Alfred and Josephine (Cain) Brunner.
A graduate of Salem High School, Mrs. Warner lived the last 40 years in Columbiana, retiring from BankOne in 1988.
She was a member of the Robbins United Methodist Church of Washingtonville, teaching Sunday School for 25 years.
Her husband, Glenn W. Warner, whom she married October 19, 1946, preceded her in death on November 18, 1960. A brother, Lloyd C. Brunner, died January 20, 2003.
She leaves behind two daughters, Gayle (Rick) Noel of Columbiana, Lana (Dave) Weingart of Canfield and a son, Ron (Laura) Warner of Macungie, PA; seven grandchildren, Carey (Jamie) Weingart, Jodie (Ben) Metts, Kristi (Shawn) Ebben, Kara Noel, Alyssa, Kayla and Glenn Warner; and two great-grandchildren, Brianne and Brandon Metts.
Other survivors include a brother, Ross (Luella) Brunner of Greenford and four sisters, Helen (Harry) Durham and Marty (Harry) McBride both of Canfield, June (John) Herron of Leetonia and Jean (Jack) Albright of Salem.
Her funeral service will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in the Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home, Columbiana with Pastor Cheryl Vanatsky officiating. Burial will be in Washingtonville Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held 5-8PM Tuesday at the Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home in Columbiana.
