Doreen B. Kyle

Columbiana - Doreen B. Kyle, 75, of Brenda Lane, died peacefully in her sleep at 6:29 a.m. Friday, October 30, 2015 at the Parkside Health Care Center, Columbiana.

Mrs. Kyle was born October 2, 1940 in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Fred and Martha Grisby Streb and had lived in this area all of her life. She was a 1958 graduate of Youngstown South High School. Doreen was a homemaker and had worked as a bank teller several years ago.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Columbiana where she had sang in the choir and was active in their Vacation Bible School for many years. She enjoyed sewing working with various crafts. She was a loving mother and grandmother and had a special place in her heart and home for rescued cats.

She is survived by her son, Craig (Richelle) Kyle of Columbiana; a brother, Gerald Streb of Florida; two grandchildren, Allison Kyle and Adam Kyle; and the father of her children, Howard Kyle.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Kurt Kyle and a brother, Bruce Streb.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana, with Pastor Joshua Conley officiating. Burial will follow in Columbiana Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-7 p.m. on Monday.
