Donna L. Manley Snodgrass

Columbiana – It is with deep sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Donna Lea Sumner Manley Snodgrass in her home on Monday, March 24, 2014. She was 85 years old and had been a resident of Columbiana for over 60 years.

She was the loving mother of Claudia (Walter) Simpson, Connie (John) Benitou, Cathy (George) Nyktas, Cheryl Manley, Chris (Mike) Rouse, Craig (Toni Sepeda) Manley, Curt (Wendy) Manley, Candie (Greg) Dickinson, Kassie Rosse, Betty (Bob) Belding, Donna (Ted) Rupert, Frank (Juliet Jaeger) Pancake and Gayle Weikart. Donna is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, of 23 years, Frank Snodgrass; her sister, Helen; and three brothers, Clarence, Lawrence, and Doyle.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Columbiana. Donna enjoyed homemaking, gardening, garage sales, and all things Christmas. Above all, she loved spending time with her family.

Friends are invited to share their memories of Donna at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana on Friday, March 28, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to donate in memory of Donna are asked to consider donating to Senior Independence Hospice. The family wishes to express special thanks to Senior Independence Hospice and her resident caregiver, Chris Rouse. Much appreciation is extended for their love and commitment.
