Leetonia - July 14, 2007 - Donald L. Holma, Sr., 69, of 5933 Woodville Road, died at 4:05 p.m. Saturday at the Salem Community Hospital.
Mr. Holma was born November 10, 1937 in Fayette City, PA, a son of the late David and Wilma Sethman Holma and had lived in this area most of his life. He served in the US Army from 1955 until 1958. He was owner/operator truck driver the past 13 years for Ohio Transport and GF Trucking. Prior to that, he had worked 22 years at the former NRM in Columbiana.
He is survived by his wife, the former Maxine L. Duncan, whom he married October 9, 1976; a daughter, Mrs. William (Theresa) Shetler of Rogers; two sons, Gregory Taylor of Columbus and Kevin (Linda) Holma of Chambersburg, PA; a sister, Mrs. Robert (Judith) Vinansky of Charleroi, PA; a brother, David Holma of Charleroi, PA; and ten grandchildren.
A son, Clifford A. Taylor; a sister Joyce Holma; and a brother, Ronald Holma are deceased.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia, with Pastor Kari Lankford officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Square Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday.
