Donald L. Foster

Lisbon-November 9, 2009-Donald L. Foster, 61, of 7891 State Route 45, died at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Salem Community Hospital.

Donald was born October 14, 1948 in Salem, a son of Lawrence and Janice Main Foster and had lived in this area most of his life. He attended the Columbiana County Sheltered Workshop in Lisbon.

Donald is survived by his mother, Janice Foster of East Palestine; a sister, Valerie (George) Cooper of Columbiana; three brothers, William Foster, Thomas (Patty) Foster and Ronald (Linda) Foster all of East Palestine; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine with Reverend William Lawson officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
