Negley, OH - June 23, 2009 - Donald Leroy Coburn, 65, of 7638 Bouquet Street, died at 6:26 a.m. Tuesday at Salem Community Hospital.
Mr. Coburn was born May 1, 1944 in New Brighton, PA, a son of the late Charles E. and Norma Reda Coburn and had lived in Negley for the past 16 years coming from Columbiana.
Donald worked for Stearns & Foster in Columbiana as a truck driver retiring in 1994.
He is survived by his wife, the former Bonita J. Osman, whom he married February 18, 1961; two daughters, Rhonda (Joseph) Peterson of Flushing and Lisa (Robert) Winters of North Lima; two sons, Donald L. (Rebecca) Coburn, Jr. of North Lima and Randall (Diana) Coburn of Leetonia; two sisters, Jean Sargent and Betsy Nicholson both of New Brighton, PA; three brothers, Richard, Robert and Clifford Coburn all of New Brighton, PA; sixteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Coburn and a brother, William Coburn.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana with the Reverend Ralph Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Crest Haven Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
