Dolores J. Greier
Leetonia - January 12, 2009 - Dolores Jean Greier, 77, of 36 Pine Street, died at 2:20 a.m. Monday at Salem Community Hospital.
Dolores was born August 30, 1931 in Leetonia, a daughter of Joseph and Susan Morbito Perry and had lived in Leetonia all of her life. Mrs. Greier had been employed as a machine operator for the former U.S. Can Company, Columbiana and was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Leetonia.
Her husband, Gary L. Greier, whom she married November 30, 1962 died February 24, 1999.
She is survived by a daughter, Pam (John) McIlduff of Leetonia; two sons, Joseph F. Greier of Leetonia and David L. Greier of Salem; a step daughter, Lynn Anderson of Bradenton, FL; two step sons, John W. Greier of Reynoldsburg and Gary L. Greier of Sarasota, FL; two sisters, Rosalyn Jones and Rita Rohrer both of Leetonia; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A brother, Francis Perry also preceded her in death.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Leetonia with Reverend Thomas Eisweirth officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Friends may call from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home.
