Dixie C. Mathey

Washingtonville - October 17, 2005 - Dixie C. Mathey, 72, of 415 Walnut Street, died at 12 Noon Monday at her home following a long illness.

Mrs. Mathey was born February 19, 1933 in Jet, Oklahoma, a daughter of Lester L. and Edna A. States Archer and had lived in this area most of her life. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas E. Mathey, whom she married September 28, 1951; two daughters, Teresa Mathey of Stow, OH and Mrs. Muhammad (Carol) Muhib, of Stow, OH; a son, Thomas (Karla) Mathey of Clermont, FL; a sister, Joy Barnes of Oklahoma City, OK; a brother, Buddy L. Archer of Dallas, TX; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia, with Pastor Kari Lankford officiating. Burial will follow in Washingtonville Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services on Friday.
