Diane K. Mckean

Darlington - Diane K. McKean, age 81, of Darlington, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at her home.

Mrs. McKean was born on January 4, 1944, in Salem, Ohio, a daughter of the late Wilbur "Murph" and Vivian Marshall.

Diane was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ, New Brighton. She enjoyed time with her family, her dog, Luca, and reading books and watching movies.

Her husband, Paul James McKean, whom she married on August 8, 1963, preceded her in death on, June 14, 2019.

Diane is survived by two sons, Craig (Bernie) McKean and Ryan McKean; a daughter, Cheri (Keith) Wolfgong; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren, also a sister, Melody Reeder and a brother, Bart Marshall.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Traci McKean and a brother, David Marshall.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 12, 2025, from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine and on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at the Church of Christ New Brighton.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at 11:00 am at the Church of Christ New Brighton, with Jeff Greene Minister officiating.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Van Dyke-Swaney-Rettig Funeral Home, East Palestine.
