Dennis "Denny" Kimble

Dennis "Denny" Kimble, age 77, of Columbiana, passed away after an extended illness on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at his home.

He was born on January 10, 1949, in Salem, a son of the late Gerald L. and Mary Simkins Kimble.

Denny was a graduate of Columbiana High School and received his associate degree from Kent State University. He worked for various companies for over 40 years as an electrician and retired in 2014 from CSM in New Middletown. Growing up, Denny was a member of First Christian Church of Columbiana. He was an avid swimmer and tennis player. He enjoyed coaching baseball and stayed active himself by joining the Salem Community Center where he was an avid pickle ball player and swimmer. He also enjoyed biking, hiking with his family and spending his time enjoying the outdoors. Mostly, he loved spending time with his family, including his many nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Snyder Kimble, whom he married on July 12, 1969; children, Aaron Kimble, Dena (Greg) Clark and Drew Kimble, all of Columbiana. Also surviving is his sister, Nancy Myers of Clyde, NC, and his two grandchildren, Augusta and Nolan Clark of Columbiana.

Denny was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald A. Kimble.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at the Greenford Christian Church, Greenford.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, at 12:00 pm, at the church, with Pastor John Bush officiating
