David S. Stambaugh

Columbiana-David S. Stambaugh, 61, passed away unexpectedly Friday, November 20, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Care Center.

David was born October 29, 1954 in Salem, a son of Robert and Rosemary Stevens Stambaugh, Sr. and had lived in this area all of his life.

He was a Car Sales Manager for many area car dealerships for 30 years. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Leetonia. Dave was an avid dog lover and enjoyed running for the past 33 years.

Besides his mother, Rosemary Stambaugh of Salem, he is survived by his wife, the former Sherrin Deffenbaugh, whom he married August 4, 1979; his daughter, Katie (Kyle) Kramer of Sagamore Hills; and his son, Zack (Chelcey) Stambaugh of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Stambaugh, Sr.; a sister, Jean Holt and a brother, Robert Stambaugh, Jr.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Leetonia with Pastor Kari Lankford officiating. Friends may call from 5-7 pm Tuesday at the church.
