David Michael Crawford

Leetonia-March 7, 2012- David Michael Crawford, 62, of Leetonia, died at 6:15 pm Wednesday at his home.

Mr. Crawford was born September 9, 1949 in Portsmouth, OH, a son of William and Laura Keho Crawford and had lived in this area since 1974 coming from McDermott, OH. David was a machinist for NRM and also Alloy Machine. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War where he was stationed in Korea. He was member of the Joe Williams Post #131 American Legion, Leetonia, the York Drexler Post #5532 VFW, Washingtonville and the Salem Amvets. He was also a former member of the Leetonia Sportsman's Club.

He is survived by his wife, the former, Terrie L. Bruderly, whom he married May 29, 1976; two daughters, Danielle L. Crawford and her boyfriend, Richard Schwartz of Columbiana and Shannon M. Crawford and her boyfriend, Paul Phillips of Leetonia; a sister, Libby Crawford; two grandchildren, Robbie Walters and Cierra Walters; his mother-in law and father-in-law, Jim and Jensie Campbell of Washingtonville; a niece, Sandy Simone and a nephew, Bill Crawford both of McDermott, OH.

A brother, Bill Crawford is deceased.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, March 10, 2012 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Leetonia with the Reverend Steve Wassie officiating. Military honors will be accorded by the Salem Honor Guard following Mass. Friends may call from 11:00 am-12:30 pm Saturday at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia.
