David A. Baker

Leetonia, OH-July 22, 2005-David A. Baker, age 44, of 5881 State Route 164 died at 11:04 p.m. Friday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Youngstown.

David was born March 17, 1961 in Salem, a son of William J. and Shirley Bailey Baker and had lived in this area all of his life.

He was employed as a truck driver for Leaseway Trucking of Lordstown. He was a member of the Italian-American Club of Leetonia and the Moose Lodge of East Palestine.

He is survived by his parents, Shirley Howard of Leetonia and William J. and Garnet Baker of Lake Tomahawk; a daughter, Miranda L. Baker of Leetonia; two sons, William J. Baker and Justin A. Baker, both of Leetonia; two sisters, Kathy L. Talbot of Columbiana and Shannon K. Baker of Littleton, Colorado; and a brother, Dana and Deb Baker of Leetonia.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Leetonia, with Pastor Kari Lankford officiating. Burial will follow in Lisbon Cemetery. Friends may call at the Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia from 6-8 p.m. Sunday and at the church one hour prior to the services on Monday.
