Daryl Mcdonald Brooks

Columbiana - Daryl McDonald Brooks, 65, of Columbiana, died, Saturday, August 18, 2018, at Salem Regional Medical Center.

Daryl was born September 10, 1952 in Salem, a son of Herbert W. Brooks and Irene McDonald Brooks.

He was a graduate of Leetonia High School, served in the U.S. Navy, worked as an STNA at Parkside Health Care Center and was an election poll worker for many years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Leetonia.

Daryl is survived by six sisters, Beverly Griffiths of Salem, Marlene (George) White of Massachusetts, Donna (John) Buffone of Leetonia, Bette Getz of Leetonia, Peggy (Richard) Berg of Salem, and Glenna (Kevin) Flick of Petersburg; a brother, David (Pam) Brooks of Leetonia; two sisters-in-law, Joyce Brooks of Salem and Dorothy Brooks of Auburn, MA and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers, Keith, Frank, Ronnie, Richard, Jackie and Jimmy; two nephews, Mark Buffone and Andrew Berg and a niece, Kelly Brooks.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 23, 2018, at the First United Methodist Church of Leetonia, with Pastor Cyndi Midlick officiating.

Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery.
