East Palestine - Damien Cajaten Condon, 60, of Garfield Ave., East Palestine, died at 1:50 a.m. Friday, July 11, 2014 at the Cleveland Clinic.

Mr. Condon was born May 23, 1954 in Steubenville, a son of James P. and Anna M. Miller Condon and had lived in this area all of his life.

He worked as a security officer for Alpha Security for 13 years, retiring in 2012. Damien enjoyed painting ceramics and was a "Tinker" at heart. He was a people person who loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed and remembered as a selfless man by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by his wife, the former, Brenda Sue May whom he married October 24, 1998; his mother, Anna M. Condon of Columbiana; four daughters, Nicole Lynn Parker of Parma, MO, Darla DeCapio of Irondale, Virginia Beckett of Brookfield and Brandy May Condon of East Palestine; two sons, Damien Mark Condon and Michael Allen Condon both of Salem; two sisters, Cris Whelan of MD and Kateri Simon of East Palestine; three brothers, Peter Condon of Girard, Cloud Condon of Green Bay, WI and James "Charlie" Condon of Canal Winchester; as well as, ten grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, James; a brother, Blaise Condon and a grandson, Xavior Michael Cox.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana. Burial will follow in New Waterford Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
