Dale C. Wolfgang

New Waterford November 19, 2004 -Dale Cleland Wolfgang, age 83, of 46429 Dogwood Circle died at 4:30 a.m. Friday in the Essex of Salem #2.

He was born April 5, 1921 in New Springfield, son of Clarence and Margaret Cleland Wolfgang and lived in New Waterford for the last 69 years.

He had been an enameling helper at Eljer Manufacturing in Salem for 30 years.

Mr. Wolfgang was a member of the East Fairfield United Methodist Church; the Palestine Masonic Lodge #417 and East Palestine Lodge #381 Order of Eastern Star and the New Waterford Lions Club.

He served with the 8th and 12th Air Force in the Army Air Corps during WW II.

A daughter, Mrs. Michael (Darlene) Belaney of Salem; two son, Earl (Susan) Wolfgang of Ft. Myers, FL and Wayne (Elaine) Wolfgang of Columbiana; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren survive him.

His wife, the former Pauleen Alice Bower whom he married August 29, 1941 died January 3, 2002. Three sisters, Irene Lipp, Marjorie Brown and Pauline Molnar; and a brother, Clyde Wolfgang, also preceded him in death.

Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday in the East Fairfield United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mitchael R.Hennessey officiating. Burial will follow in the New Waterford Cemetery.

Friends may call 2-4 & 7-9 pm Sunday at Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.

The East Palestine Lodge #381, Order of Eastern Star will conduct a service at 1:45 p.m. on Sunday and the East Palestine Masonic Lodge #417 will conduct a service at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, both at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, his family requests Memorial contributions be made to the church.
