New Waterford – Cynthia Louella Handwork, 57, passed away suddenly Wednesday, morning, November 9, 2016 at her home.
Cindy was born May 2, 1959 in Salem, a daughter of Earl J. and Shirley L. Crawford Baker and had lived in this area all of her life.
She had worked with her brother, Larry, as a secretary and office manager for LEB Contracting for over 30 years. She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church of East Palestine.
Her husband, Ronald “Bud” Handwork, whom she married May 25, 1994 died December 22, 2013.
She is survived by her mother, Shirley Baker of Rogers; her sister, Sharri Kintz of East Palestine; her brother, Larry Baker of East Palestine; her two nieces, Michelle Baker and Anna Baker and her nephew, Shawn Kintz. Cindy’s loving and caring nature will be sadly missed by all her family and friends especially her nieces and nephew.
Besides her father and her husband, she was also preceded in death by a brother, David Baker.
Friends will be received form 5-7 pm Friday, November 11, 2016 at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana. Funeral services will follow at 7 pm Friday with Pastor Phil McIntosh officiating. Private burial will be in Seceder Cemetery.
