Columbiana - Clarence W. "Tim" McCoy, 83, formerly of Columbiana, died at 4:37 a.m. Monday, July 12, 2010, at Covington Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center of East Palestine.

Clarence was born March 30, 1927 in East Palestine, a son of Harry and Emma McCoy and had lived in this area all of his life. He had been a truck driver for several area companies and served in the U.S. Army during WW II.

Mr. McCoy is survived by his wife, the former Evelyn Miner, whom he married in 1963; two step sons, Paul (Donna) Miner of Columbiana and Charles (Paula) Miner of The Villages, FL; four grandchildren, Lorri (Bill) Gouldsberry, Barry (Lisa) Miner, Steven (Chrissy) Miner and John (Debbie) Miner; 12 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and two nieces, Jeannie Nicotera of Columbiana and Mary Garcia of Aliquippa, PA.

A step daughter, Shirley Jensen; a sister, Elizabeth Frankford; a brother, Earl McCoy; a grandson, Paul Miner, Jr. and a nephew, Richard Frankford preceded him in death.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 15, 2010, at the Columbiana Cemetery Chapel with Pastor Bob Noble officiating. Burial will follow the Columbiana Cemetery. Arrangements were made by the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
