Charles Russell Shultz

Salem-Charles Russell Shultz, 81, formerly of Washingtonville and Leetonia, died on Thursday, January 12, 2017, at Essex of Salem I.

Mr. Shultz was born on January 2, 1936 in Leetonia, a son of the late Frank DeVilla Lettie Annetta Gifford Shultz.

Charles had worked as a heavy equipment mechanic for R & R Y.E.S. Service Inc. for 30 years, retiring in 1991 and had served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife, the former, JoAnn Pasco, whom he married on July 24, 1965; two daughters, Toni Shultz of Lisbon, Christina Shultz of Salem; two sons, Randy Morris of Fremont, IN. and Ted Morris of Homosassa, FL.; ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A sister, Alice Summers and two brothers, Albert and Merle Shultz preceded him in death.
