Charles E. Quinby
Washingtonville, OH-October 6, 2012-Charles E. Quinby, 69, died at 4:50 pm at Salem Community Hospital following a year long illness.
Mr. Quinby was born December 25, 1942 in Warren, a son of Harry and Marguerite Sherlock Quinby and had lived in the area most of his life.
Charles worked at GM Lordstown for 33 A½ years retiring in 2000. He served in the US Navy.
He is survived by his wife, the former Cindy Bell, whom he married July 16, 2005; a son, Kevin (Heather) Quinby of Warren; a sister, Judith (Henry) Cole of Lakeworth, FL; a brother, Harry (Sandy) Quinby of Southington, OH; and three grandchildren, Charles Quinby, Bradey Quinby and Brandon Warnock.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Molly Quinby.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 13, 2012, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Leetonia.
Woods-Rettig Funeral Home, Leetonia handled the arrangements.
