Columbiana - August 21, 2006 - Charles L. Landsberger of Fairfield School Road was taken to his eternal resting place at 5:00 am Monday.
Born July 8, 1933 in East Palestine, a son of William and Edna (Pike) Landsberger.
He was a family man and farmer all of his life. He enjoyed hunting, camping and his garden. He was a hard worker and loyal employee at several local companies. Chuck worked at Columbiana Boiler, Buckeye Mining and was a crane operator at the former NRM.
Survivors include his wife, Dellorma Marie (Wright) Landsberger, whom he married December 25, 1954; his children, Bonnie (Paul) Crook, Velma (Roger) Gbur, Candy (Dane) Walton, Joe (Karen) Landsberger, Michael (Dawn) Landsberger, Quent (Connie) Landsberger, all of Columbiana; four sisters, Louise Yacullo of Columbiana, Margaret Stratton of South Carolina, Virginia Artrip of Rogers and Evelyn Bailey of East Palestine; four brothers, Edward of Lisbon, Fred and Elvie of East Palestine and Albert of Salem; 20 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Two brothers, William and Frankie and a sister, Edna Mary Knight, preceded Mr. Landsberger in death.
The Rev. John Bartholomew conducted a graveside service at 10:00 am Monday in Cool Springs Cemetery.
Arrangements were by the Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home.
