Charles H. Elwonger

East Palestine- Charles H. Elwonger, age 74, of East Palestine, died on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at his residence. He was born on July 20, 1941 in East Palestine, a son of the late Hiram and Ruth Wallace Elwonger. Charlie was a veteran of the United States Army having served during Vietnam and had worked as a draftsman for Electric Furnace. He is survived by his brother, Robert "Bob" Elwonger of East Palestine. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at the Glenview Cemetery Chapel, East Palestine. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the cemetery in the chapel. Burial will follow in the Glenview Cemetery.
