Chad "Chadwick" Stouffer, age 37, of Boardman, died on Tuesday, December 30, 2025.
He was born on March 29, 1988, in Salem, a son of Howard "Butch" and Norma Gaskill Stouffer.
Chad was a 2005 graduate of Columbiana High School where he was a standout football player. After high school, Chad enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served his country proudly with the 2nd Platoon during the Iraq War. He was a member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church, the Benjamin Firestone Post #290 American Legion and the Washingtonville VFW Post #5532. Chad loved spending time in the outdoors. He enjoyed hiking, fishing, and golfing. He enjoyed playing darts and canning peppers with his dad. Mostly, Chad loved spending time with all of his family and attending the family cookouts.
Chad is survived by his two sons, Jayce Stouffer and Cameron Stouffer; his parents, Butch and Norma Stouffer of Columbiana; two brothers, Matt Stouffer of Boardman and Justin (Anna) Stouffer of Dover, FL; two nephews, Jackson Stouffer and Logan Stouffer both of Dover, FL; maternal grandmother, Joan Gaskill of Columbiana; paternal grandmother, Mary Stouffer of Leetonia; his aunts and uncles and numerous cousins.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 4:00 pm, at the funeral home, followed by military honors accorded by the Columbiana American Legion Honor Guard.
Chad will be laid to rest at the Columbiana Cemetery.
