Celia Mae Sneddon passed away peacefully on May 5, 2023, in Lake Placid, FL.

She was born on March 29, 1936, in Salem, Ohio, daughter of the late John Paul and Carolyn (Haas) Bower.

She worked for the Crestview Local School District as a cook for 29 years.  She had a love for gardening her flowers, baking for all of her children, and bird watching from her porch.  Celia devoted her life to her faith, her family, and her recipes!

Celia married the love of her life, Lewis (Louie) Sneddon, on November 20, 1951, and he preceded her death on February 23, 2013.  She was preceded in death by her eldest son, Louis Edward Sneddon Jr., on February 20, 2012; and her two brothers, Ronald and Donald Blower.

She is survived by her son, Gary (Lori) Sneddon, of East Palestine, Ohio, and daughter, Cindy Ohman, of Lake Placid, FL.  She is also survived by six grandchildren; James (Tish) Sneddon, Michael Sneddon, Daniel Sneddon, Amy (Jason) Murry, Jessica (Frank) Felger, and Jacob (Savannah) Wright.  Celia was survived by 11 great-grandchildren that she was very proud of.

There will be no public services and in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity in her honor.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home, Columbiana.
